Nasolabial Fold
Nasolabial folds, also called Marionette lines or Smile lines, are fine wrinkles or lines that run from the nose to the corner of the mouth, separating the cheeks from the upper lip. As our age progresses, nasolabial folds tend to become more prominent owing to various factors, such as excess amount of skin, thinning of skin and ptosis or drooping of cheek fat.
Tissue fillers such as Restylane or juvederm also help in improving the appearance of the nasolabial fold. Elevating the cheek using a Midface Lift or enhancing the volume of the lips with Restylane will significantly accentuate the appearance of the nasolabial folds.
